Small businesses can outpace rotten sales luck with good organic marketing and great customer service.
I strongly recommend this course. Amit has been of invaluable help for the launch of Customer Experience Touchpoint Analytics campaign. Some of his tips are around best practices that are easy to imbibe in B2B marketing context.

How I got started on this path
Take it from a 2 time academic quitter – Engineering AND MBA (shattering the dreams of my very Indian parents), the path chooses you if you let it.
What got me interested in Marketing after academic setback, was the interest I had in subjects like human behaviour, writing, design, photography, video and tech. It was a natural product-market fit.
I completed Mass Media Studies and got jobs first as a writer. Soon company honchos noticed I was designing their flyers, banners and sometimes logos better than their design teams, tweaking website content while adding sections, pages and articles (in html), getting websites ranked, setting the company and CXOs on socials early and creating video content to promote them and more.
I was having fun learning marketing on my own. The companies benefitted, but I didn’t particularly enjoy the corporate lifestyle.
Instead I was captivated by the stories on the street;
About the IT startup that started in someone’s bedroom that now employs 120+ people,
The textile business that started with one woman, a sewing machine and her love for banjara fashion,
The teacher who turned educationalist because her fun teaching methods didn’t line up with convential school syllabus,
The pair of friends who had dedicated years in a corporate that finally opened a chain of chaat cafes,
And many more. I knew then what the Universe had in store for me; to be able to help these small business thrive.
After a few years of climbing the corporate ladder, I quit my job and started my little marketing consultancy with friends in 2013, HootBox Unltd to help small businesses do good and do well. There were a lot of episodes, harsh learnings about life and business along the way, but I hit my stride as a solo business owner in 2018.
Since then I have helped a number of small businesses use digital marketing as a core component of their success story.
Together, I promise we can do much more here at scale for your small business. Are you with me?
